240. Horrible Day, Positive Focus

🔵 10:46pm. Saturday, June 15th, 2024, Wrong Direction on Road LOL, UT

 

Today at FedEx, there was a massive error in the system which caused 90+ stops for me to be not loaded into my GPS, scanner, or the software we use. Meaning, I had all the boxes I needed, and they were all in the right spot, generally, but that didn’t matter if I didn’t know where the house was (which is what the software we have is for).

 

So, I had to deliver a package (that I could see) and then physically look at all the surrounding boxes to see if they were nearby, on the same street, etc.

 

I had tot back-track all day, spend an additional 4 hours organizing and manually typing in every address to my ipad, and ensure every box was delivered.

 

Start time: 7am.

End time: 9:14pm.

 

Right on.

 

Despite this, there were a load of positives I took from this day. And all in all, despite the horrendous turn of events today, it was a good day. I built more confidence in talking to people for the reviews (this episode was gonna be sales chronicles #2, but, LOL, nah, shit day), I got to see a killer sunset (always in bed before I see those now), I kept my standard high and delivered every single box despite FedEx’s major fuck up.

 

I won the day. Despite the shit show. 

 

And we keep movin’.
